Wayne Beals
Wayne is a top producing Chicagoland Realtor, who has been engaged in all facets of the real estate industry in Chicago and the surrounding Suburban Areas for the past 12 years.
After much corporate success, Wayne decided to pursue his passion, exploring Chicagolands vast canvas of neighborhoods and architecture in the real estate industry. He got his start as an agent in the Hyde Park Neighborhood which only strengthened his appreciation of Chicago's rich architectural heritage. From grand mansions in Kenwood to 26 unit courtyard buildings in South Shore, the experience added to his appreciation of Chicago's history, cultures, geography and construction.
Wayne's experiences as a General Contractor, Landlord and Developer, gave him a complete understanding of the Real Estate Business. After 11 years and hundreds of transactions, Wayne partnered with another top producing Chicago native, Lorena Verdin, and together they opened Beals Verdin & Company in 2013. Their mission was to create a progressive real estate firm where the clients are the first priority.
Currently, Wayne lives with his wife and three children in West Suburban Maywood in a historic Prairie School home. Wayne has served as a Historic Preservation Commissioner, an Environmental Commissioner, and currently serves pro-bono as a board member of Housing Helpers, Inc. and President of Maywood Housing Helpers Development Corp. Both are Not for Profit Organizations that promote sustainable homeownership. Wayne has helped raise and implement over $3 million in grant funding and loans to create high quality homes for first time homebuyers in his community. He leverages his industry contacts, knowledge base and work ethic every day for his clients, community and fellow brokers. Most importantly he hasn't lost the sense of amazement in the built environment of the region he calls home.
